LEAD for Littles

As parents, have you ever wondered how to translate big ideas into manageable and actionable pieces for your younger kids? That’s exactly the question we were asking ourselves at Landmark last year when we adopted the theme: LEAD.

  • Lead Courageously
  • Eliminate Passivity
  • Accept Responsibility
  • Desire the Greater Reward.

These are great principles, but what do they mean and how do they apply to an elementary student? Good thing for us, this is where our elementary experts shine!

They came up with LEAD for Littles. Here it is:

Lead Courageously

I will do the right thing even when it’s hard. I do not give up!

Eliminate Passivity

I always do my best. I help others in need

Accept Responsibility

I am responsible for me – my choices, my work, my attitude!

Desire the Greater Reward.

I am always growing and try to be more like Jesus every day.

If you are on campus and pop into the elementary classrooms, it’s likely that you’ll see these principles on the walls. If you would like to have a copy for yourself, for your own walls at home, feel free to print a copy here.

LEAD – it’s for each of us. From little to big.
