The Landmark Department of Arts, in partnership with the Atlanta Drum Academy (ADA), is excited to offer the War Eagle Drumline! Taught by renowned drum instructor James Riles III, the War Eagle Drumline will get your student in the rhythm!
Mr. Riles formed from his love to not only play, but teach other children and adults alike, who have the same passion as himself. Throughout the years, “Pray and Play” has always been his motto, and he is best known for his work Drumline and Drumline 2 as a composer and performer. His ADA youth drumline has performed all over the country and even received the Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent. This year’s Drumline students can look forward to performing at several Landmark events including athletic events, band/choral concert, Chapels, Senior Walk, Community Events, the Spring Arts Festival, and more!**
Come play to the beat with the War Eagle Drumline! No experience necessary!
**Must be enrolled in Wednesday’s Ensemble class (Package B) to join in performances due to the necessity of practicing together as a group.

Our experienced and talented music teachers will dedicate individual time with your student to provide excellent instruction right here on the Landmark campus!
INTRODUCING NEW GROUPS with multi-talented Stephen West:
Stephen West has enjoyed teaching music in the classroom and one on one through private lessons for over twenty years. Currently, Mr. West directs the middle school chorus program with the award winning and professionally recorded 7/8th grade advanced chorus “Landmark Luminescence.” Stephen is also immersed in teaching piano, ukulele, guitar, and voice. This year, he is able to combine his classroom teaching experience with his private instruction by giving after school piano and combined ukulele/guitar small group classes. The goal of these small group classes will be to strive toward achievable and measurable goals for each student on their instrument. This is a great opportunity for students to receive extended contact time with their instrument, one on one feedback, and a group environment that builds comradery and encouragement between students.

The Landmark School of Dance after school program provides offerings and performance opportunities for LCS students in K4-5th grade in ballet, jazz, and tap styles. In addition to fostering a love for dance and artistry, our goal is to provide physical development in strength, flexibility, and agility; brain development in self-expression, rhythm, and coordination; and character development in self discipline, work ethic, and etiquette all while learning proper dance technique and the choreographic process.
LSoD after school is unique in that the program is conveniently offered on campus in a safe Christian environment with other Landmark students. Come join our dance family!
