We believe that every student should be confident to step into college prepared for the road ahead. More than that, each student should be prepared not only for what life throws at them, but prepared to make an impact wherever they go.
Great academics, innovative opportunities for experiential learning, robust cocurriculars, and intentional mentors provide a launching pad like no other.
All of this in an environment where you don’t have to choose between great academics and an authentic commitment to Christ. At Landmark you get both, because we believe that excellence is an act of worship.
Landmark’s Endorsement Program represents learning for life. Endorsement pathways allow students to enrich their educational experience by creating an individualized sequence of study in an area of interest beyond core academic coursework. The Endorsement Program is distinct as an intersection of personalized learning, depth of study, real world skills, and demonstrable achievement (e.g., original compositions and productions in commercial music, original films, R&D portfolio/prototypes in engineering).
With focus on computer-aided design (CAD), and 3D printing.
With concentrations in film, music production, fashion design, and visual arts.
Acquire the knowledge, hands-on experience, and industry connections needed to thrive as a skilled pilot in today's dynamic aerospace industry.
This program is designed to equip students to take their leadership to the next level. Our mission at Landmark is “every student prepared to impact the world for Jesus Christ”. Through the Impact Leadership Program students become laser-focused on their potential impact.
Leadership at its core is influence. We believe that all of our students have influence, and our role is to help them learn how to leverage it for God’s glory. During Impact Leadership Training, students will learn through seminars; organizing and leading service projects; exposure to outdoor adventure experiences; field training, and possible internships. These experiences will come together to help forge them into better all-around leaders.
Students will learn things like time management, strength analysis, goal setting, communication, how to execute, and other valuable tools they will need as leaders.
Students are created to be creative! Artistic expression is an important element in glorifying God and celebrating the beauty of His creation. High school students benefit from a vibrant arts program encompassing visual arts, media arts, and performing arts, giving them the opportunity to express their creativity, develop their talents, and use their artistic gifts to bring glory to God.
Students compete in a championship caliber athletic program that combines the pursuit of athletic excellence with the values and teachings of Jesus Christ. Through the mentorship of expert coaches, Landmark athletes train in an environment where they develop their athletic skills, strengthen their character, grow their faith, and ultimately reach their full potential. Whether they aspire to compete at the next level or simply enjoy a sport they love in high school, the Landmark athletics program instills discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship in every participant, empowering them to become well-rounded individuals on and off the field.
Landmark students serve others and make a positive impact on the world around them. Students benefit from numerous service opportunities, allowing engagement with local and global communities, helping them address social issues, and teaching them to demonstrate Christ’s love through acts of kindness, compassion, and service. Some of our regular opportunities include:
Advisory groups provide each high school student with a small community group where they are known, encouraged, prayed for, and discipled. Advisory groups provide students with an extra layer of adult and peer support as they navigate the high school years.
The purpose of advisory groups is to model the care for our students that Christ shows each of us so that we can be a guide for our students as they grow in stature, wisdom, and favor with God and each other. The Landmark Christian School Advisory Program seeks to accomplish a variety of goals such as:
We are passionate about the concept that each student deserves to be known, valued, and cared for. As educators who love young people, the advisory program gives us a great opportunity to have meaningful, often fun, consistent interactions with our students so that they are more fully known, supported, and equipped to live full lives and to go out and impact the world for Jesus Christ.
Serving others is an integral part of a Landmark education, and students in every grade level have the opportunity to participate in multiple service projects throughout each school year at an age-appropriate level. Some of our regular opportunities include:
High School students participate in several activities both on campus and off campus in service to others. One of the unique benefits of a K-12 environment is that High School students have the opportunity to mentor younger students on campus.
Through regular service, Landmark students learn that they have the opportunity to be a blessing to others, and they have the opportunity to make an impact.
We have the pleasure of hosting the students and faculty of Campbell Elementary School for a day of fun, every year.
Campbell and Landmark students and faculty parade from Campbell to Landmark and the Fairburn police and fire departments lead the way as field day begins.
Games, encouragement, service, and care fill the day with the love of Christ, making an impact on our community.
Landmark students have a global impact. During winter break, Landmark students travel to Mexico to build houses for families in need. Others travel to Kenya to minister to students in schools and to share the Gospel through a prison ministry.
Over spring break, a team of students travels to the remote mountains of Honduras, continuing a 20-year tradition of providing various supplies to people in the region and serving alongside a medical team to provide care. Partnering with Landmark’s Elementary School, the high school students also deliver handwritten notes for students in Honduras.
During these trips, students work to provide comfort through words and actions, share the Gospel, and reach beyond the classroom, impacting others and, most often, returning home with a life-changing experience.
Landmark students benefit from comprehensive college preparation and guidance. Experienced college counselors work closely with each student to identify their individual strengths, interests, and goals, and they help them navigate the college application process with confidence. While we take pride in our track record of successful college placements at prestigious institutions both nationally and internationally, we also take pride in helping every student find their best fit so they can confidently take the next steps on the journey where God is leading them.
