Guide to Giving and Getting Involved

What does it take to prepare students to impact the world for Jesus Christ? For the past 35 years, vision-driven families have partnered with us to make a difference in building this community through prayer, service, and generosity.

Overview Of Landmark’s Financial Stewardship

Landmark Christian School is committed to stewarding the resources under its care through scriptural principles. As an independent school, Landmark receives zero financial support from federal, state, and local governments. Its sources of revenue include tuition, charitable gifts, and lesser income streams.

The Landmark Community Models Biblical Generosity

Christ honoring generosity is a mark of discipleship.
Prayer, service, and charitable giving are vital behaviors for each of us as followers of Jesus.

PRAY

As a Christian community, we know the power of prayer and ask you to remember every student, teacher, administrator, and volunteer. Take a prayer card as a reminder throughout the day, and/or join a small group on campus, such as Dads and Donuts, Moms in Prayer, or a Bible Study Fellowship. Each of these communities will help you grow in your faith and relationships.

SERVE

There are a host of ways to serve! War Eagle families volunteer for athletic event support, student enrichment activities, or community events. Join us to make an impact on campus and make meaningful friendships at the same time!

GIVE

Since our founding in 1989, Landmark alums and families have raised the standard of biblical generosity by giving above and beyond tuition to accelerate the kingdom impact of students. We are again calling on your partnership in the Raise the Standard campaign – the school’s comprehensive fundraising campaign to underwrite strategic school-wide improvements. We have the opportunity to carry that banner forward, modeling biblical generosity and contributing to the best of our ability as the Lord calls us. Please contribute online or by mail to the Raise the Standard campaign (formerly the LANDMARK FUND).

More Ways to Give

Matching Gifts

Several school community members, including spouses and retirees, have matching gift privileges through their employers. If you’re not sure – just ask. Leverage more dollars to strengthen the Landmark experience for each child.

Gifts By Will

Wills: Every adult, of any age or asset level should have a will, healthcare directive, and power of attorney. As a service to our families, you can set up these documents for FREE.

IRA Rollovers & Qualified Charitable Distribution

Likewise, War Eagle fans over age 70 1/2, who the federal government requires to take a minimum distribution from their IRA, can give directly to Landmark to maximize their charitable impact.

Georgia GOAL Scholarship

Looking for a way to make an impact that is also a great deal? The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program is a non-profit organization established to help students enroll in accredited private schools. Through this program, Georgia taxpayers are able to redirect a portion of their state income tax payment and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit. Participation in the GOAL Scholarship Program made it possible for 87 students to attend Landmark in 2023.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I give to the Raise the Standard campaign, will I be asked to give again in the same school year?

We never choose to limit the spirit of generosity. However, once you contribute, the Office of Giving won’t ask you to give again until next year or until your pledge is paid-in-full. You will still receive regular reports about what God is doing through your support.

Can I give appreciated stock or give monthly?

Absolutely! Arrange both at landmarkgiving.org or call our office at (770) 692-6758.

How is my gift to the Raise the Standard campaign used?

The Raise the Standard campaign is intended to be comprehensive to underwrite institutional priorities prescribed by Dr. Wesche and his leadership team. Each year, we will begin with a time of prayer, followed by the Great Day of Service where we come together as a community, on a single day, to beautify our campus, followed by the Great Give, a week focused on biblical generosity toward our institution’s greatest needs. The fall season allows us to pray, serve, and give together to help our students grow to impact the world for Jesus Christ.

Is the Georgia GOAL Scholarship a gift to Landmark?

Not directly. You receive a state income tax credit after redirecting a portion of your income taxes to the GOAL Scholarship Program. You are then able to select Landmark as the receiving institution, and then GOAL disperses these funds to Landmark in support of families with a proven need for tuition assistance.
