Landmark Christian School’s Afterschool Care Program provides families with students in PK3-high school with a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for students after the school day ends. Our dedicated staff creates a welcoming atmosphere where students can complete homework, enjoy supervised recreation, build friendships, and participate in engaging activities while parents have the flexibility and peace of mind they need.

Regular After School Hours

Monday – Friday
3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

A Typical Afternoon

While activities may vary throughout the week, a typical afternoon includes:

3:00 p.m. Student arrival and Afternoon Snack
3:20 p.m. Homework, reading, and additional Accelerated Reader (AR) testing opportunities
4:00 p.m. Arts, crafts, STEM activities, or hands-on learning experiences
4:45 p.m. Outdoor play, recreation, and organized games
5:15p.m. Afternoon Snack and Large group and/or enrichment activities
5:45 p.m. Cleanup, and dismissal preparation
6:00 p.m. Program concludes

Schedules may vary based on grade level, weather, and special activities.

Registration

Registration Opens July 27, 2026 

All Landmark Christian School families, PK3-middle school, are required to register for the Afterschool Care Program each school year, even if they do not anticipate using the program on a regular basis. High school students must register if they are not enrolled in a club, sport, or approved/supervised activity. 

There is no cost to register. 

Annual registration ensures that your child is eligible to participate in afterschool care whenever unexpected situations arise, including: 

  • Working late 
  • Schedule changes 
  • Traffic delays 
  • Family emergencies 
  • Last-minute childcare needs 

Registration provides peace of mind knowing that care is available whenever your family needs it. 

Brightwheel Registration & Payments 

Landmark Christian School utilizes Brightwheel for: 

  • Annual registration 
  • Student attendance 
  • Parent communication 
  • Weekly invoicing 
  • Secure online payments 

Invoices are generated weekly

Payment is due in full upon receipt of each invoice. 

Parents are strongly encouraged to enroll in AutoPay for convenient, secure, and timely payments.

Hourly / As-Needed Care PK3-High School

Need care only occasionally? 

Families may utilize our Hourly/As-Needed Care option whenever space is available. 

Rate: $23 per hour 

Late Pickup Policy 

Afterschool Care ends promptly at 6:00 p.m. 

Students picked up after 6:00 p.m. will incur a late fee of $2 per minute. 

This policy allows us to appropriately staff the program while respecting the schedules of our aftercare team. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Is homework time provided?

Yes. Students have dedicated homework and reading time each afternoon. Additional Accelerated Reader (AR) testing opportunities are also available when appropriate. 




Are snacks provided?

Yes. Students receive a healthy afternoon snack upon arrival as well as an additional snack before dismissal. Students are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle each day.  Please ensure you notify us of any food related allergies to ensure the safety of all students.

Can my child attend only occasionally?

Absolutely. Families may use our Hourly/As-Needed Care option whenever needed, provided space is available. 




Do I have to register if I don't plan to use aftercare?

Yes. Registration is required for all Landmark families each school year. Registration is free and ensures your child may attend aftercare whenever unexpected situations arise. 

How are payments handled?

All registration, attendance tracking, invoicing, and payments are managed through Brightwheel. Weekly invoices are generated, and payment is due in full after each invoice. 




High School Student Volunteer Opportunities 

High school students who are not participating in a school-approved athletic team or extracurricular activity may have the opportunity to earn service hours by volunteering in the Afterschool Care Program. 

Volunteer opportunities may include: 

  • Assisting younger students with homework 
  • Reading with elementary students 
  • Leading a book club 
  • Helping with games and activities 
  • Assisting with arts and crafts 
  • Supporting staff during outdoor play 
  • Other leadership opportunities discussed with the Afterschool Care Director 

This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop leadership skills while serving younger members of the Landmark community. 

For the safety of all students, high school students should never remain on campus unattended. Students who are not participating in an approved school activity or serving as an approved Afterschool Care volunteer must leave campus at the conclusion of the school day.
