What's Important Now?(1-3 Years)
Areas of Focus
Over the next three years, Landmark plans to focus our attention on bettering three areas of our school to make our students prepared to impact the world for Jesus Christ. These three areas are People, Programs, and Places.
People
To compete for outstanding teaching talent in a challenging educational market, we seek to increase teacher salaries to a level that rivals the public sector.
Programs
- To strengthen existing and create distinctive academic programs. ‐ To empower students as they discover and develop the gifts God has given them for kingdom impact. ‐ To infuse leadership development training into our curriculum while expanding curricular and co-curricular opportunities for students to develop as leaders. ‐ To provide scalable adventure challenges for every student to hone leadership skills in a fun, healthy, engaging environment.
Places
To construct a championship-caliber athletic training facility benefiting boys’ and girls’ teams. It will include dedicated space for strength and conditioning, mat sports, a small locker room, an athletic trainer, and storage. Additionally, because the new building will overlook Thorn Stadium, it will include a large exterior patio for special events. ‐ To add one full-sized practice field at the Garwood Athletic Complex. ‐ To construct an adventure low-ropes leadership course. ‐ To begin architectural and site planning for a fine arts center to be featured in Phase Two of Raise the Standard.
