Launching a NEW Art Workshop this FALL for High Schoolers! 

Art Workshop (High School only): Open to all skill levels! This Figure Drawing workshop will be a walkthrough of many of the ideas found in Michael Hampton’s Figure Drawing: Design and Invention, which will cover gesture, forms, and proportions of the human body. The course will not focus on portraiture or head proportions, but will instead be focused on the full body. How to design bone and muscle mass as forms and altering those forms will be discussed alongside exercises to put that theory into action. Expect that by the end of the eight weeks, you will better understand how to break the body down into manageable forms to then use in your own figure drawings. 

Jordan Cain is currently the Middle School Art instructor at Landmark Christian School. Jordan received his Bachelor of Art and Design (BFA) from LaGrange College. He has experience in graphic design and illustration as a freelance artist and joined Landmark shortly after finishing his degree.
